Be a leader who mentors and motivates others. Gain dive knowledge, supervision abilities, and become a role model to divers.

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development, water skills exercises and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. Topics and practical workshops include:

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
  • Assisting with student divers
  • Diver safety and risk management
  • Awareness of the dive environment
  • Dive setup and management
  • Mapping an open water site
  • Conducting dive briefings
  • Conduct a scuba refresher class
  • Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and lead Discover Local Diving
Confined Water Pool Dives

Prerequisites

  • Must have a Rescue Diver certification
  • Valid BLS first aid and CPR card
  • Have logged 40 dives

Course Fee

Classes start at $965 + tax. This includes E-Learning.

Fee Excludes:

Customer is required to purchase any rental gear and personal items needed to complete the divemaster course.

Refund Policy:

If a refund is requested more than 72 hours before the start of class, $100.00 will be retained by Underwater Sports as a service fee. If a refund, or request to transfer to another class, is within 72 hours of the start date and time; there will be a $200.00 service fee.  Once you have redeemed your online access code, we are unable to issue a refund for that portion.
